Review for Wolf Timbers, Bolivar, OH, USA
Volunteering at Wolf Timbers has been a very pleasurable, knowledgable, and unforgetable experience. I have not only meant other people and friends, but have learned about wolves and their important role in the ecosystem. Wolf Timbers is an educational place for people to visit and learn about wolves. You learn about their temperments, life span, eating habits, and even their quirks. I would recommend Wolf Timbers to anyone who wants to learn about nature, the ecosystem, or just hang out and watch Nira, Ingo, and Keeley.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the happiness you see in visitors eyes when they leave.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Wish that they could post videos of the wolves acting in their environment on their website. By showing the wolves at night or during the breeding season would educate others on their habits and teach people that they are not to be feared.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the friends and knowledge I have taken from each and every experience I have had there.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and passionate.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Continue to develop education based programs and maybe expand in different ways. By hosting bigger events or enlarging the enclosure.
Ways to make it better...
I could get up there more often. I have moved since I started volunteering there and with the 2.5 hour drive I can only get up there every 4 months or so. I wish I could get up there more...
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
volunteers. You have many that would love to volunteer and can't find the time or don't have the means to get there. I am one of those. Thankfully, Wolf Timbers has many volunteers that are dedicated in seeing it succeed.
One thing I'd also say is that...
don't judge wolves or an organization such as Wolf Timbers until you experience or see them for yourself.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
