PHSS welcomed me with open arms when I re-located from the UK and was looking to take up voluntary roles to help animals in need. As a zookeeper I have no doubt that all the staff and volunteers at PHSS do everything in their power to assist injured and orphaned animals and I have seen the wide variety of animals they help, from pelicans to turtles, pigs, doves and everything in between. I love spending time at PHSS and feel that I am appreciated for the help I give them. I now help PHSS receive donations by shopping online through http://smile.amazon.com/ and donating all of my loose change!
