Inside-Out Ministries is fairly unique because it is an all-volunteer organization, so they can do a lot with a little, and that "lot" includes pro-active case management. This means that local residents who need help with avoiding homelessness, finding jobs, managing their money, etc., can find free counseling to help them become self-sufficient. This is in addition to the food, clothing and medical supplies that are provided free of charge, and the help with rent and utilities that is provided there. IOM is also the Madison home for Christian Women's Job Corps, Community Action, and AARP Tax-Aide.
