Review for Ascending Leaders, Sugar Land, TX, USA
First, I rated AL 5 believing that 5 is the top vote, not the worst, because AL is top-notch. I know the phrase life-changing is overused, but in the case of AL it is also accurate. I have seen lives -- including my own walk -- changed because of AL and its programs. I've been a participant and a group leader. I know the impact AL has had on my Christian walk, and I've seen similar steps being taken by others as well.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the "Charting Your Course" weekend, where I saw how God truly has worked in my life. And in a Group Guide training weekend, I learned more about myself than I'd ever learned in professional development seminars I attended as part of my work.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
I don't want to lead an organization like this; I simply want to be able to participate in all that it offers.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
how I've seen myself and others benefit in meaningful and lasting ways.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
sincerely Christian and eager to continue to grow in their maturity.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
share those benefits with many more people.
Ways to make it better...
I was more consistent in my followup.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
I hope that it can avoid the temptation or trap of building a bureaucracy and the accompanying roadblocks as it grows.
One thing I'd also say is that...
within Ascending Leaders -- both its leaders and its participants -- all I've ever witnessed is sincere Christian love and outreach.
