Review for Clinica Verde, Angwin, CA, USA
ClÃnica Verde is an innovative project that will serve an extremely vulnerable and deserving population – a population that is among the poorest in the Western Hemisphere. Perhaps ClÃnica Verde’s most exciting aspect is that it has been designed to be environmentally sustainable and replicable from the very beginning, so it provides a clear model for steadily increasing access to care throughout the region and throughout the world. Under Susan Lyons’ outstanding leadership, ClÃnica Verde has assembled a top-notch advisory board and is weaving close ties with its future client community as well as with other major charitable, government, and health care institutions in the region. This network of support will ensure continued project momentum. I’m very excited about this project and have no doubt that it will have a tremendously positive impact on health outcomes in Nicaragua.
