Review for Lost Paws Rescue of Texas, Carrollton, TX, USA
I'd like to file a complaint, if anyone cares to listen, against a Caucasian woman with glasses, hair up in her 50's (since I'm not allowed to use her name) I was in PetSmart in Bedford, TX Saturday, 1/23/15 in the late morning/early afternoon. There was a beagle with heartworms that a few people were interested in, and concerned about. She was right by the door and would shiver every time the door opened. We asked the lady if the sick dog could be moved away from the door, and she brushed us off, very rude, and said 'We'll move her later'. We could not understand the delay, as there were several empty spots she could have moved her to, in about 5 seconds of her time. I ended up buying her a blanket, and she stopped shivering. She was also ugly to an older gentleman that was inquiring about her and told him 'You're not going to adopt her' and walked away. We could not believe this woman's demeanor. There was another dog right beside her that was barking very loudly the whole time, I asked the woman if she could move the barking dog away from the sick one. Again, she turned her back and walked away from me. I called later to inquire if the dog had been adopted, as I know several potential adoptees, once she heard it wasn't me myself adopting, she hung up on me. If I was running a charity, I would want to know about persons like this being the face of my organization. I've never met anyone involved in pets and charity that seem so incredibly insensitive and rude to potential adopters. I'll be avoiding this charity as long as this woman is involved. Thank you for your time.
