Review for Upper Valley Land Trust Inc, Hanover, NH, USA
I have worked with the Upper Valley Land Trust for a relatively short period of time but have been impressed with the job they do for many years. Although UVLT is only about twenty years old it now ranks amongst the largest in the country in terms of acreage persevered. The amount of work that is done each year by a small dedicated staff, a very active Board of Trustees and a large number of unpaid volunteers is quite extraordinary. Careful attention is focused on every proposed and current easement to see that each is created and maintained in keeping with the highest standards individually appropriate to each piece of property.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
trails I have hiked and interaction with staff and volunteers.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
unbridled enthusiasm on the part of everyone I have met.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
always knowageable and friendly.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
continue its work on a much larger scale to reconcile the never ending tension between development and preservation.
