Save the Whales has come to my 3/4 grade class of students with special needs for the past several years. This hands-on program has been integral in helping my students understand our oceans, their inhabitants, and the importance of preserving this critical environment. The artifacts and knowledge of the presenter are stimulating and excite student interest and participation. My students are in Title 1 schools and would be unable to have exposure to this vital program without the grants that have brought it to the schools. If you have a opportunity to experience this garb it . Your class will be amazed and excited. Anything that can help promote this program so it can continue should be pursued.
