The co-founder from Save the Whales, Ms. Sidenstecker, visits my fourth grade classroom each year during our water and environment unit . Ms. Sidenstecker does a fantastic job teaching the students about how the choices they make can effect the environment. Her model of a town and allowing students to "pollute" it impacts them greatly as students see the impacts of their everyday choices.
Save the Whales is a wonderful organization!
