Review for Friends of Texas Wildlife, The Woodlands, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

While working at the Hostital in Conroe,Texas, I was fortunate to meet 2 of the original members of Friends of Texas Wildlife. I joined 5 years ago, and have never regretted one second of the time, money, and commitment this group of dedicated individuals give to our wonderful animals. I am awaiting inspection for my permit to work with mammals. Joan Blum, Janette Winklemann, Evelyn Hyde surely saved my life for the purpose of working with these precious creatures. I have seen many miracles roked by the above mentioned and mant more of the members. Most of us have full time jobs, and still find the time, energy to give back to our community with educational programs so that our great,great,... will be able to live in harmony with Mother Nature, and share the what is left of the areas these 'critters' call home. Even though our resources are small, we continue to try to support the care of the animals, and try to find resources for a much needed intake center. Sincerely, Dana Lynch, Proud Member of Friends of Texas Wildlife.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

In the care and dedication of all our menbers. We have many wonderful volunteers that do not work directly with the animals, but continue to help us grow with their expertise.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Learning and Teaching others how important our wildlife is.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Supportive, dedicated, knowledgable, and the biggest hearts in the world.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

We could build an intake center, so that the few that are able to take animals in and direct them the right rehabber have a central point for from which to work their miracles.

Ways to make it better...

A central location for Meetings, administrative functions and animal assessment.
