Review for Boston Harbor Association Inc, Boston, MA, USA
The Boston Harbor edge has been transformed from a place nobody would think of visiting to an exciting harbor walk visited by Bostonians and many from around the world. The major credit for this transformation and the driving force is their leader, VIVIAN LEE. Along with her drive to get abutters to provide rest rooms and share part of their waterfront, she has programs to enlighten the public about its history and heritage. These are accomplished by walking tours meetings and harbor boat trips. Thank you Vivian! Martin and Sallie Katz

Review for Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston, MA, USA
I have watched the Greenway from the beginning. What they have accomplished is amazing. But when you consider the quality of their staff it is not surprising. Over the years I have volunteered in many capacities. Always I am impressed by the quality of their work. Lately I was given a tour of the new gardens at Dewey Square. The gardens represent not only beauty but modern agricultural methods, all organic, that we must all do to adapt to our new environment.The Greenway does not get enough credit for all they do. In only a few years they have managed to turn the area into one of the places of destination for everyone in the city. I am always amazed when I meet people participating in events from everywhere including faraway suburbs. It is one of the few places in Boston where people from all races, background, and classes meet together. It was a happy day for the city when we got the Greenway and we must do all that we can to to continue its growth.

Review for Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Boston, MA, USA
We live by the Greenway and so we have first hand experience about the dramatic improvement the Greenway has made in our lives and for out of town visitors and the people of Boston. Personally we have observed a beautiful Greenway park emerge with walkways, outstanding plantings, places to sit and relax, green areas where we can play with our grandchildren and generally enjoy the outdoors in the midst of a busy city. More and more activities have been added to the the agenda throughout their few years of existence; the Chai Chi classes, pole walking , game days for children, merry go round, and not the least the beautiful fountain that draws so many people,old and young. In addition there are many special events that we attend. For example on Earth Day this year there will be a special concert. Last but not least is the wonderful Greenway Staff that leads us in all these activities with their cheerful professional guidance. We are off to an Greenway open house which will inform us as to the new treats we can expect this summer. It also gives us the opportunity to volunteer and give back for some of the pleasures they have given us. Sallie and Martin Katz

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
volunteering in landscaping, helping in frequent Greenway activities and classes in yoga and children's activities. The staff is outstanding and knowledgeable and a joy to work with.
