Review for Life Unlimited of Virginia Inc, Rapidan, VA, USA
I have been an active supporter and donor of Rikkis Refuge Animal Shelter for over three years. This shelter is home to many, many wonderful animals that otherwise would not have a home. Handicapped, abandoned, abused, aged and anything else that has no one to love and care for them are welcomed here. In addition to a loving home, each animal is given medical care and put on a special diet if need be and all of this is done for a cost of only $1.00 per animal. The volunteers who care for the animals give freely of their time and quite often their money. Thank you Rikkis for being such a God send to these amazing animals.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
making close friendships with the volunteers involved and listening to their praises. All are commited to help Rikkis provide the best care possible for all the animals that need it.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
unfortunately, without extra funding there doesn't seem to be any changes that could be made at this time.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
sharing with others. Interacting with other volunteers. Participating in fundraisers. The list is endless.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
caring, loving, dedicated people who give of themselves to help support this shelter.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
help even more animals. Build bigger and better housing. Not worry about paying medical bills, food bills, electric, etc, etc.
Ways to make it better...
I had known about this wonderful organization ten years ago.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
time and money. We all need a lot more of both.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I have never seen anyone like Kerry. She is one devoted lady and I admire her. People should be treated the way this woman treats animals. She certainly has my love and admiration.
