Updated review: I have known the founder of Aide for Animals for about 18 years, through animal rescue volunteer work. She is one of the most generous-hearted, patient, loving people I've ever met. Her reverence and respect for life has given me so much respect for her. There just aren't many people like her. The same goes for her family, and dear late husband. I was not in the local area for seven yrs, and am not currently in animal rescue, so don't know the other volunteers, but I do know the work this group does is of a level of emotional and physical difficulty that most people would find it hard to imagine. They are absolutely tireless. They draw their strength from the tremendous need of the innocent creatures they rescue & care for. I know they truly believe what they do is so worth it every time they look into the eyes of one of the angels living at their sanctuary. Thank you Betsy for what you do for them, day in and day out....for what you've done for me over the years and what you've taught me by your example. Thank you to each one of the volunteers. There are not enough words to ever thank you all enough for the difference Aide for Animals is making in this world!
