Recently, a friend called and told me about his friend who had a son with significant disabilities. His son was 24 years old. His son has a great smile, but he could not speak and he had to use a wheelchair and he would sometimes have issues and accidents. The parent could no longer care for him. I gave them the Community Options office phone number in Wayne, New Jersey. Ms. Repic-Qira worked with the family. Now he is living in a small home with people with disabilities and getting supports from wonderful staff. It is something no one can ever explain. The family is happy, the son is really happy and everyone is now living a much better life. Words can not describe what really happened. It has made lives 100% better.
