Pelican Harbor Seabird Station has helped many birds of every sort as the birds try to survive in a decreasing natural habitat and increasingly difficult conditions. I've brought wounded birds to them, and they arrived quickly when called to collect and save a wounded baby pelican when one washed up on a crowded beach near my home. The staff is always cheerful and helpful and one can feel the level of emotion they invest in every creature they treat and house. When not tending to their tenants, they give a lot of time to educating the local community. I have long been a supporter of the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station and I will continue to support them.
