I volunteered at Pelican Harbor Seabird Station for two years, and it's the best job I ever had, and I would still be there had I not moved out of state. The small staff relies almost entirely on volunteers, and they know how to treat them. The work they do is unbelievable. It's hard work, and most of it is very unglamorous.

Pelican Harbor is an amazing organization that does a great deal of good for pelicans and other wildlife with very little resources. They also do education. The staff and volunteers have a lot of dedication and creativity.
