I actually live in the same complex a few buildings away from the woman that had this big German Shepard. I don't know her personally or the dog she turned back in. She did not need a big dog because she had a very hard time controlling the dog on walks and especially around other dogs. I had heard early on about a dog attacking this German Shephard. There are neighbors that live around me who have dogs and are relieved that she does not have the dog anymore. I was not personally involved with the situation but wanted to know more about this organization so I searched last night and found this site and just had to write a positive review because I agree with her decision on turning the dog back. It is sad, but when you can not provide the basic dog needs (like walking) then you should not have the dog plus you should want what is best for the dog and not be so selfish. Also get a dog that fits your lifestyle and one you can control, like a poodle or a smaller dog! I agree with some of the other reviews that you are only hurting the dogs that are trying to find their forever home.
