Review for Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Colorado Springs, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is a great organization that provides care to injured animals primarily for birds of prey. I have worked with them by providing volunteer injured animal transport both to and from the facility (via the Colorado Dept. of Wildlife). They provide a caring and nurturing place for injured wild animals to recuperate and then be released back into the areas found. They have very good facilities that rival what is found in any professional group similar to them. Donna and Ralph have put all their hearts into this project both to provide care for the animals and education to the community at large. I plan to continue to help them in anyway possible in the future.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the increase of public knowledge of endangered wildlife with particular interest in birds of prey.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

working directly with the release of rehabilitated animals back into the areas they were found at.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009
