I used to really believe in what the Animal Sanctuary did for animals. Until they decided to Elitist the facility to make it impossible for families that dont make $80,000 a year to attend.

By their very website, it would cost 250$ for my family to visit and enjoy the sanctuary. Which is a huge increase in their pricing from what it used to be.

They also stated that it was because the previous donations and volunteer work wasn't doing anything for the animals.

I can clearly tell you. Informing 20 cun scouts that the volunteer work they did at the 2015 Wild Animal Run did nothing for the animals was nothing less than heartbreaking to the boys, and heartless actions by this so called refuge.

There are numerous refuge's across the nation that do not demand a 50$ a pop "donation" in order to view the animals. And those same refuge's gladly accept and appreciate the volunteer work.
