Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I heard about the sanctuary when I returned to live in CO. After visiting the sanctuary and reading the rescue stories, I decided to adopt two bears, Ricki and baby Eva. It is a beautiful place for the animals there and all look healthy and happy. All staff are well informed and always willing to answer questions a visitor might have. I really like how well they know about introduction of new animals to the older sanctuary members. Some of the animals may never be able to live in large habitats with other of their kind due to horrific abuse. Even these animals have their space, great care, breed specific food. I just love spending time and learning something new about their residents every time I go. I love what they do, and how they do it. Keep it up! Hopefully, one day, with awareness and organizations like The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keensburg, CO, animal abuse and suffering will disappear. I know that my bears and all the other rescued animals are grateful to TWAS.
Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I am an active supporter of The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keensburg, CO. It's a wonderful facility for so many animals previously abused. The staff is wonderful, very knowledgeable about the animals and very helpful. I enjoy visiting when I can as they they a wonderful walkway which allows one to see the animals in a natural environment without disturbing them. I absolutely love the sanctuary. The baby bear in the tub is Eva, rescued from a breeding center. She is enjoying a bath and watermelon with her surrogate mom, Marley. Love it!
