I have had the pleasure of working with IDRF for several years. My husband and I have made donations over the years to support projects and development/relief work in India through IDRF. About 2 years ago, I had the opportunity to visit a few of the projects in Haryana and Gujarat and was very impressed by the quality of the work being done to educate orphan boys and girls in Gujarat as well as empower women in Haryana. We were especially impressed by the quality of the staff in each of these IDRF supported NGOs and projects – they were very qualified and the level of dedication was far above what I have seen elsewhere. This impressed and inspired me so much, that I volunteered to help Mr. Vinod Prakash, founder of IDRF, to help write the 2014 IDRF Annual Report. Writing this report, provided me with further insights into the various projects that IDRF funds as well as the selfless devotion by Mr Prakash to IDRF. I believe that IDRF is truly one of the best non-profits operating in the US!!
