Review for FIV Cat Rescue, Fort Bragg, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

FIV Cat Rescue and its owner, Frankie have been a life saver! An abandoned cat that had been trying to survive on the streets found its way to my back door in August of 2014. After taking him in to get vaccinated and neutered, we found out he has FIV. Until I spoke with Frankie, I thought it was going to be impossible to get him (we named him Butter) adopted and had been told that I shouldn't bring him in to my home because I had two non-FIV cats. I was told if I kept him, that would be dangerous and that he should be an only cat. Frankie educated me very quickly and I finally had correct information and knew if I took my time, that this 3rd rescue kitty could acclimate with our other two. I'm happy to report that all 3 cats are cohabiting well. I'm grateful to have found FIV Cat Rescue and that Frankie was so willing to respond to all my inquiries to help us. (1st pic is the day we found him. The 2nd is from September 2015).

Thanks you for sharing your story of Butter. I'm glad you took the time to bring him into your family. He looks very happy and healthy.
