Review for Shadow Cats Rescue, Round Rock, TX, USA

Rating: 5 stars

It has been almost 1 year since I have been involved with SCR. I started out as a sanctuary volunteer and then the "you name it, I do it" role whenever there's a need. It is absolutely amazing to find like-minded individuals who have a special place in their hearts for these kinds of cats. It has really been a learning experience for me about how involved this group gets, not only with other people, but how it can and has effected various cities and their animal ordinances.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Trap Neuter Return, Hospice care for several cats that would have otherwise been euthanized.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Contact the Board of Directors directly and offer my suggestions.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Spending time not only with the cats, but knowing there are other people out there like me. New friendships within this organization has been wonderful.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Like-minded, compassionate, steadfast in the TNR philosophy.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

TNR more cats. Provide more shelter for FELV+ cats. Ensure every cat's medical bills could be paid. Make Central Texas a better place for community cats.

Ways to make it better...

Not Applicable

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Realistically I think the biggest challenge facing all non profits is having the funds needed to ensure their mission succeeds to its full potential.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Im glad, and very proud to be a member of this organization and ensure progress is being made to further its mission.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every week

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
