Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I have been a financial supporter and a Animal Adoptive parent for 4 years now, ever since I saw the shelter on the local news, they needed money to help feed the beautiful animals. I love the 'big cats', and was so excited to be able to see them up close and watch the tigers play in their cement pond, once when I was there Pat came to the tiger area and turned on the water for the tigers, they ran up to the fence and were so happy to see him,it was apparent that both love each other very much. Every year I 'adopt' a lion, and they send me a beautiful framed picture of my 'son', my current 'son' is a baby lion, "Sampson" was rescued from a person in another state who illegally kept its Mom and Dad in a horse trailer! OMG! Lions in a trailer! Pat finally got them to the shelter and its awesome to see them roam free and roll in the dirt. When you adopt a animal (some as little as $15 a month, what a deal!) you are sent passes for free visits, I give them to my friends hoping that they will fall in love with the shelter like I have, if I had more money I would donate it to them, they could help so many more!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the way they care so much for the animals that I want them to expand so they can help more, I know there are many more that need to be rescued. You can see it in the peoples faces how much they care.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Help them get more and better advertisement of their cause.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
to see the animals happy and free. It gives me a little bit of a good feeling to know I 'helped' them.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
The staff are awesome, they love the animals as much as any person can, they are very helpful when you visit and know a lot about the shelter and each animal there.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
SAVE MORE ANIMALS! Thats what they do and they do it very well.
Ways to make it better...
I had more money to help them.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
MONEY! MONEY! MONEY! They need more land and more money to feed the animals.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I love visiting the wild animals and when I leave I know that their well cared for and are happy living there.
