Review for The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Keenesburg, CO, USA
I have visited the center twice and plan to return at least 2-3 times a year. The place is magical. It is clean and well taken care of. It is amazing to walk above the large cats. It takes my breath away to look out into the large meadows and see lions and tigers and bears (oh my!) wandering freely, or to watch the tigers swimming in the large pool. The animals appear well cared for, happy, and stress free. I think they know they have found their final home, a safe place to live out their lives. The staff are all knowledgeble and friendly. My last trip I stayed till dusk, and to hear the roar of the lions and wolves howling gave me goose bumps. It is obvious that Pat and all the volunteers love what they do and are committed to giving these animals a wonderful life, rescuing many from the brink of death.

Enlarge, take in more animals, create a larger raised walkway to enable visitors to see more animal habitat.
Ways to make it better...
I could actually interact with the animals, but that is not the purpose of the organization, and they stay very true to the concept that the center is first and formost for the comfort and safety of the critters.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
Money! In this tight economy people just don't have the money to give.
One thing I'd also say is that...
I applaud Pat and all the volunteers for staying true to the vision and keeping the center running smoothly.
