Review for Au Sable Institute, Grand Rapids, MI, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Over the course of two summers, I took 24 credits through Au Sable, at both the Michigan campus and the Pacific Rim campus. These classes were key to my ability to complete my self-made major, since courses in my environmental concentration were not offered at my school. The professors provided me and other students with a positive, but challenging academic experience that both equipped and inspired us. The Au Sable program truly succeeds in inspiring young adults to embrace environmental themes in their career paths, whether in traditional science or in business or in social justice ventures.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

the knowledge and inspiration I took away from the courses.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the intentional focus on biblical creation care.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

fun and genuine.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

broaden its student constituents to incorporate students from more schools and different backgrounds.

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About once a year

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009

Role:  Client Served & I was a student for two summers taking a total of 6 courses.
