Los Padres Forest Watch is a great local non-profit doing awesome work in Ventura County. Their team of employees and the local volunteers they recruit are always friendly, always energetic, and always full of great information regarding issues and new initiatives. Their work on the Save Santa Paula Canyon campaign is inspiring, and their persistence in pursuing action and justice on important local issues is amazing. I had the opportunity to volunteer one day with Forest Watch for a forest land clean up, and it was very educational and rewarding. The team was so fun! Great local group doing important work.
