Chris and Marylin have been coming to India for the last 6 years working and training farmers in seed and living soil in addition to training hundreds of farmers and students at Navdanya in principles of agroecology. Their beautiful spirit and tireless efforts have inspired in turn many students to start their own agroecology projects in different parts of the world and strengthen the movement for Seed Freedom. The Humming Bird project is an extremely important project in the global struggle for seed sovereignty and ecological agriculture, empowering local communities and building resilience.There is no more powerful gift you can give farmers than the knowledge and resources to be independent of the system that keeps them impoverished. We highly recommend collaborating and supporting the humming bird project that is creating long lasting and positive change in India and around the world.
