What I love about Los Padres Forestwatch is that they protect hundreds of square miles of national forest from activities that can have long term negative impacts, such as fracking, overgrazing, destructive mining, and excessive off-road vehicle use.

LPFW's use of our legal system, combined with all their great projects such as ripping out non-native plants from creekbeds and cleaning up trails, gives a two-pronged approach to protecting this huge space enjoyed by so many of us.
