Review for Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Colorado Springs, CO, USA
Ellicott Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is the only such facility in our area. Donna and Ralph have done an amazing job in creating and expanding this Center, despite the fact that they both have to work full-time jobs. They are both the kindest, friendliest people to work with! As a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for small mammals and small songbirds working out of my own home, I've had occasion to take them animals for whom I don't have suitable pre-release caging, and--conversely--they've referred animals to me that I specialize in. One of the things I love most about Donna is the follow-up reports I get on animals I've taken to her--they never just "fall off the radar screen"!!! Donna and Phil are doing a fabulous job for distressed wildlife and the public and absolutely deserve and need support to keep on doing this work, which our area so desperately needs!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the expansion and ever improving housing they've managed to build despite all odds, in the countless successful releases of rehabilitated animals and the excellent educational articles Donna writes for our local newspaper.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the kindness and friendliness of Donna and Ralph, and their passion for the work they do to help wildlife! They never seem to lose heart, no matter how difficult it is to find funding and support.
