Review for Immune Enhancment Project, Pacifica, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

IEP has done a great job providing services to HIV+ individuals through funding from the City of San Francisco and for providing discounted services for acupuncture and massage to low-income individuals through it's CAMP program and it's drop-in clinics. IEP's practitioners are knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate towards all. Their new Executive Director and Board is helping IEP stay open amongst turbulent economic times and focused on its mission of providing services to those in need.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

how they treat their clients and provide services to them.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

do everything to raise money to keep IEP's doors open and serving those with HIV and those with low-income.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the quality of services for acupuncture and massage.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very friendly and very approachable.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

provide more acupuncture and massage services to low-income individuals, cancer survivors, and people living with HIV.

Ways to make it better...

I went more often for services.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

relying too much on government funding to provide servies to their clients.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I believe IEP deserves a hand up and not just a hand out.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2004

Role:  General Member of the Public & I received acupuncture there.
