Review for Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge Inc, Navarre, FL, USA
I am constantly amazed at the knowledge, expertise, dedication and passion of both the staff and the volunteers. Their commitment to saving the lives of sick, injured and orphaned wildlife is above and beyond the call of duty. On call 24 hours a day, no animal in need goes without.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the fact that they rescue approximately 2000 animals yearly, of which, many are near death and they have an above average success rate in releasing them back into the wild.

the friendships developed in sharing a passion for saving wildlfe.

dedicated, knowledgable, friendly, and enthusiastic.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
save so many more lives and be able to provide more permanent homes to animals that can't be released. They would also be able to expand their education programs and to be open to the public for everyone to enjoy the animals.
Ways to make it better...
we didn't have to constantly struggle for funding.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
financial restraints. Unfortunately animals are somewhat low on priorities especially in a tough economy. Wildlife in particular are many times considered a nuisance and folks can't get that warm and fuzzy feeling about animals that can't be handled.
