Review for Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge Inc, Navarre, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I previously worked as a docent at the Zoo, Northwest Florida. I had no idea that another docent position awaited with such a an organization as dynamic as the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge. Its staff is highly dedicated and educated, its goals ambitious and far reaching and its volunteers extremely dedicated and hard-working. I feel privileged to again serve as a docent and grateful for the education I am receiving. This is truly an outstanding organization.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

I have seen the quality of care given the animals on a daily basis. I have seen/experienced the response of the public upon seeing and hearing about the organization and exposure to the education animals.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

Continue to grow the organization so that more animals could be cared for and larger facilities could provide the public with more exposure to the organization.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Knowing that the time spent volunteering makes a difference in the animals' lives.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Extremely knowledgable and dedicated.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

This is an organization located in a relatively small area and money in smaller amounts would be well used and well received.

Ways to make it better...

I could not imagine a more rewarding experience.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Space and funds.

One thing I'd also say is that...

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be involved with this organization.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2010
