Twenty years ago I was introduced to women suffering from obstetric fistula during a visit to Ethiopia and have been connected with the campaign to end fistula ever since. I am impressed with the network of competent treatment partners that the Fistula Foundation has funded and nurtured to restore the hope and dignity of these women.
