When I read about the Fistula Foundation in the NY Times, I knew this was a foundation whose work I was ready to support. Helping women who are shunned by their communities through no fault of their own, with relatively simple interventions. Bravo! Hopefully, we will some day live in a world where communities around the world care and value women - rather than treat them as possessions to be used and discarded.
