My Nonprofit Reviews

Review for Andover Village Improvement Society, Andover, MA, USA
AVIS has been around since 1894, preserving land and making it available for the public to enjoy. Without AVIS much of the 1,100 acres protected by them would be developed for housing or commercial purposes. This land includes meadows, forests, and wetlands that protect the environment and the plants and animals that thrive there. Thank you AVIS!
More Feedback
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the respect that citizens and elected officials in Andover have for the role it plays.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
continue to obtain additional lands to preserve for future generations.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
the ability to walk on trails in areas that are near my home but far enough from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
dedicated and enthusiastic about the mission and accomplishments of AVIS
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
preserve more land for future generations and better maintain the lands that they own.
Ways to make it better...
I had more time to enjoy the beautiful areas that are preserved and a better knowledge of the flora and fauna that are protected by AVIS.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
getting more people to enjoy the land that has been preserved (and obtaining more funds to protect more lands).
One thing I'd also say is that...
AVIS should keep up the good work.
