I am living in The Netherlands, but I donated some money after the hurricanes. And to my surprise I received a wonderful magazine from Best Friends! Reading and looking at the photo's, I learnt more about them and the wonderful things they do.
I felt inspired by their dedication and I will certainly continue to follow the work they do.

This is so great. These rats are trained to save lives! They find landmines and TB!
Because these are light weighted animals, mines don't explode when they find them. They can sniff out TB very well too.
Me myself love it that these rats have a good life: they are respected, live in groups and are loved by their trainers. The people of APOPO and the rats are real heroes!
