The Hummingbird Project is truly regenerative. The team's creativity and grounded sense of reality makes for a super-nourishing organization that has a solid benefit to the Earth. These folks come from the Earth and give to the Earth. They seem to me to be ancient healers resurrected as "Marilyn" and "Chris." As a fellow community organizer, I find them to support my work in incredibly thoughtful ways and feel very strongly that they have my back and that I have their's. I worked recently on creating a pollinator garden in memory of a black child killed by the Cleveland police named Tamir Rice. In my beginning efforts to build community support, I reached out to The Hummingbird Project just to let them know what I was up to. I hardly knew what I was asking for because this was such an enormous project for my experience level. The email I wrote was very long-winded but they read it in its entirety, and then responded quickly. They then continued to follow through in ways that were extensive and powerful, and important aspects of the project exist solely because of the role they voluntarily played on behalf of our community. The Hummingbird Project is made up of very highly respectable people who deserve every good thing coming their way. I hope this review helps garner more support for them :)!!!
