My name is Eric McIntyre, and after careful research and consideration, I chose Lazarex Cancer Foundation as the beneficiary of the Pancreatic Cancer Victory Tour (6300 miles, 18 states, 3 1/2 months on a road bicycle, launched in order to honor my wife, Liz's, ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer), raising money for and awareness of Lazarex's exemplary efforts to extend lives by matching patients to clinical treatment trials, and keeping families together when treatment requires travel. Theirs is a unique and critical mission in the fight against cancer, and I was privileged to join them as donor and volunteer starting in late 2014. Liz and I have both had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know the competent and caring staff at Lazarex. They are part of our family now.
