Aide for Animals is a wonderful sanctuary for homeless and unwanted cats and dogs. i have so much love and admiration for the wonderful job that Betsy and George do every singe day, rain, sleet or snow! All these wonderful critters need all the support they can get and this is the place to do it. It's their forever home and comfort is a must! I rate Aide for

This is just the greatest place!! Whenever George or Betsy feed the cat critters in Catnip Village - they don't meow! They just follow them like they are pied pipers and then once the food is all out they all chow down together like a huge family! Everyone that gets lucky enough to live there if they can't find a fur-ever home is content! I highly recommend this animal sanctuary as a GREAT NONPROFIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And please donate whatever you can, they really need the money to take care of everyone!!!

Aide for Animals is the best organization I have ever dealt with. They rescue poor critters that have no where to go and give them a loving forever home - no matter how many eyes or legs they have, doesn't matter. I would rate AFA 1000000 stars!!!!!!!!!!!

Betsy Haas and Aide for Animals are an awesome duo! They do so much for the homeless and impaired helpless animals here in Mobile Al. Without this group the number of animals that would otherwise starve, die in pain or be euthanized is overwhelming. This organization gets 5 stars in my book and everyone else who has dealt with them feels the same way. I highly recommend them for any assistance they can get as there are always so many needs when you take care of so many critters like they do!

I have known Betsy and AFA for many, many years now and what a wonderful job they do rescuing critter's and literally saving their lives. It doesn't matter if you are blind or 3 legged you at still welcome. Everyone of the residents have been tested and vaccinated, neutered or spayed and given loving accommodations for as long as they need to stay, even if that is forever. They work tirelessly 24/7 feeding and maintaining the over 100 they take care of. Expenses are really high and the vet bills are as well but somehow they keep on going. Anyone who has ever met Betsy Haas adores her as I do. I fully support this organization with a 5 star rating!!!!

I have known Betsy Haas and Aide for Animals for over ten years and I have never known a more dedicated organization. She and husband Tom have saved hundred of cats and dogs and for that matter - rabbits and baby animals as well. Her cat colony is simpatico. They feed together side by side and there is nothing but harmony. She is their Pied Piper for sure! They rely totally on donations and money is always tight. She needs volunteers as much as donations so anyone local who can spend some time with her and her cats and dogs is sorely needed. Imagine doing all that yourself? There are so many chores I can't imagine how they do it. So if you are able bodied, have a checkbook or need to adopt, this is best place on earth!!!
