I have been involved with this organization for 9 years. They have saved many horses from abuse and neglect. The organization is very transparent about it's operation and welcomes anyone to check out the facility if they have any questions or concerns. There is no paid staff and all donations go to the care of the horses. There is a lot of mistrust in donating to non profits due to high paid staff. Safe Haven is operated by volunteers only. That means we are here because we want to be not because we have to be!
