Review for Wounded Warrior Project, Jacksonville, FL, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The Wounded Warrior Project is by far the best non profit organization for Soldiers and Veterans. The WWP department that helped me the most was the Warriors to Work program. I attended an interview / resume writing workshop at Ft Sill, OK which absolutely made my transition great. I wish the Army's Soldier For Life (formerly ACAP) would take notes from the WWP.

I attended this seminar about 8 months before my actual retirement date, and began to work specifically with Linda Cubero. She helped prepare me for every interview and reviewed my resume for accuracy too. Her tips and pointers became a staple for my preparation before each interview, and her guide found a permanent home in my briefcase.

My transition was not easy, and employment didn't come fast. It took several months during my transition leave, but I finally landed a job that pays me $85k per year. I am so thankful to be a part of the WWP, and grateful that they hire the right people like Linda!
