The United States Capitol Historical Society serves a vital role in teaching students and their elders the importance of self-governance. This American Experiment continues to evolve and the programs presented by the USCHS help us understand the context of that evolution through the fascinating programs the society sponsors. Additionally, in today's Washington where security prevents individuals from wandering through the Capitol on their own, the society's tours are absolutely invaluable for everyone from families to firms. I highly recommend membership.
