Having joined as a volunteer in 2015, IMAlive has changed my life for the better. Through the relationships I have gained here, my capacity for kindness towards myself, not just others, has grown. As a part of this team, I have had many opportunities for personal and professional growth but, more importantly, I have had the privilege of meeting so many caring, supportive people who continuously lift me up. Without IMAlive I would, undoubtedly, be a different person– and the world, undoubtedly, a smaller, lonelier place. With IMAlive, I am every day inspired by all the good and all the hope there still is in the world. Thank you for the work you all do and the kindness with which you seek to heal the world.

I have been working with the Kristin Brooks Hope Center for only a short amount of time, and yet I have already experienced the full impact we can have on peoples lives. The last interaction I had with a person in crisis was truly one of the must humbling and positive experiences of my life. I honestly can't wait to work with this great team of staff, who never fail to help and teach empathetically, for a very long time.
