When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I went into overdrive! I had doctors and internet searches. I had choices and fear. I had operations and chemo. It wasn't until after all this that I even heard about The Support Connection. When trying to get my body back to functional and a friend told me about a great yoga class designed with me in mind. All I had to do was register and it was free! Sounded too good to be true but I called and had my first contact with the wonderful people at the Support Connection.
I'm hoping others hear about this wonderful organization earlier than I did because each of the counselors are so helpful and knowledgeable and have been were I was and am. My course of treatment probably would not have changed but I would have had the emotional support of people who had been in my place.
Recently my daughter received a similar diagnosis and one of the first things I did was to sit down with Robin for information and support.
