Acres of Love is different from any other non-profits that I'm acquainted with or support. Most non-profits that work with impoverished children focus on feeding and/or education, making survival the primary goal of their mission. Of course, this wonderful. However, Acres does so much more, focusing on supporting the whole person, phyically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. I believe that the Acres kids will be whole adults that are leaders in society and who break the cycles of poverty in their lives.
