Review for Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Boulder, CO, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I learned of this amazing organization several years ago when my dog injured a bird in the yard. I called and they invited me to bring it to them, which I did and they were great. They immediately told me what they thought it was but indicated the need for testing. They promised to call me when they knew what was wrong and they did. Although this specific bird could not be saved, having them be there to treat is was so much peace of mind. I don't know what I'd have done otherwise. They are able to save so many birds and other critters that their service is invaluable. I was so impressed with them that I have donated the healty pet food that need several times. This is truly a deserving charity.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

visiting them and touring their facilty. The attention and caring they give is a critical needs for these helpless creatures.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

hope to run it as well as if is currently run.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

to learn about all they do and tour their new facility which is such an improvement over the old one.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Caring and gentle with the animals, professional and honest with me.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

really expand and become something totally incredible.

Ways to make it better...

the bird had survived but that was not due to lack of proper treatment and caring. It just couldn't be saved after what happened.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

probably money. Everyone can do more with more resources.

One thing I'd also say is that...

most people don't know that such a service exists, especially as other places that used to help with birds and such have gone away.

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

2009
