I appreciate my friend Kerry for starting Rikki's Refuge many years ago and her mother for providing the property for the location.

The Refuge is near me and I have seen it grow and become a very important place, in the community under Kerry's careful guidance. It's not the "fanciest" place (like many multi million dollar shelters) but they are always improving and have the most incredible, hard working and dedicated staff imaginable.

Over the years I have been privileged that they have allowed me to help in a few ways. It has benefitted me far more then they will ever know.

Have been a supporter of Rikki's for many years. They work so hard and make EVERY penny count. I've seen huge improvements over time. The volunteers are so much help with projects.

There was a time in my life when things were not good health wise. They allowed me to help out some but mostly just BE and relax; forget my worries. It is such a wonderful peaceful place I can honestly say they helped me feel better.

The people that work there are dedicated and work unbelievably hard in all conditions. I would never worry that my donations would be wasted.

I have been involved with Rikki's Refuge for close to 10 years. It is a wonderful place that has helped me much more over the years than I can imagine that I have helped them. During difficult times in my life I have been able to get "out of myself" while helping out. The wonderful work done at the Refuge gave me a sense of hope and belonging when things were not going well in my life. They not only save animal lives but benefit and strenghten human lives. They have helped me in ways they will never know and I love and thank them for that. I encourage everyone who loves/respects animals to volunteer or donate to this worthy group.
