I have volunteered with Canopy off and on for nearly 15 years and it all started with a class on trees at Stanford taught by Drew Oman with a guest speaker from Canopy. My budding love of trees leafed and grew because of the wonderful people I met. I love and value the organization for so many reasons: the people who run Canopy, the community and families we touch, the education and fun programs provided, and for all that I have learned.
