Paws New England is a phenomenal organization. The folks who run it are kind, well organized, and care so much for every animal they rescue. I got one of my three dogs from PAWS seven years ago. When PAWS rescued him, the shelter said he was so sick and underweight that "he's not worth saving." The amazing people at PAWS took him in anyway and after his health improved, PAWS adopted him out to me. He is the most amazing animal! He's been a therapy dog since 2009, has "modeled" for the local humane society training brochure, helps give out Hallowen candy at our town's downtown kids party and even marches in the town's 4th of July parade (wearing an Uncle Sam hat, of course.). He has the happiest, most loving personality and I cannot imagine that this is a dog who wouldn't be here without the committed people at PAWS.
